St. Anne’s 300th Year in PicturesA project that I was asked to undertake by the Church of England PCC for a very prominent famous and historic church which sits on Kew Green next to the river Thames and of course Kew Gardens. The book is to celebrate St. Anne’s Tercentenary by creating a record for the community to cherish this historic year. This book captures the workings and events which surround St Anne’s, included in the book: Baptisms, Weddings, Music, Sunday Teas, Cricket, Building Work, Making of the New Font, The Queen’s C of E Primary School, Easter, Christmas and finishing off with the Bishop marking the culmination of the church’s Tercentenary year.
My favourite project was the creation of the new font produced by Albion Stone in Portland, Dorset England, who also constructed St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. You will find never before seen images of the new font being created from one block of stone, amazing machines and a dedicated passionate team that have produced an elegant piece of art to cherish for generations to come.
